mini_meatball_skillet_stewMeatball and Cheese Sub Recipe - This is one of those extremely simple recipes that anyone with basic knowledge of turning on a stove, opening a can of pasta sauce and shredding cheese can make. The kids will particularly love this one as yes it can be a little messy. But isn’t it worth it to see the smile on your child’s face. And they may even eat it all!

Ingredients

1 cup pasta sauce 1/2 cup water
1/4 cup Kraft Original BarBQ Sauce
340 g (1/2 of 680-g pkg.) frozen cooked meatballs

4 crusty sandwich buns, split
1/2 cup Kraft Part Skim Mozzarella Shredded Cheese

Steps to Make it

Mix the pasta sauce, water, barbecue sauce and meatballs in large skillet. Bring to boil on medium to high heat.

First reduce the heat to medium; simmer for 8 min. or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally.

SPOON into buns; sprinkle with cheese.
